Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef (chopped in 1 inch chunks)
  • Salt as needed
  • Black pepper as needed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons barbeque sauce
  • Olive oil as needed
  • For Pancakes:
  • 1 cup white flour
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup milk
  • Water as needed
  • Salt as needed

Instructions

  • 1. Take a bowl and mix together the beef chunks, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, pepper and barbeque sauce, mix well and set aside for half hour.
  • 2. In the mean while mix together the white flour, milk, salt, pepper and enough water to make the mixture thin but not watery.
  • 3. Heat ½ teaspoon of oil in a pan and with the help of spatula, pour the flour mixture onto it, spread it by moving the pan circularly and make a pan cake, let it cook for a few seconds and change the side, again cook for few seconds and take out in a plate. Repeat the same procedure with all of the pancakes. This quantity of ingredients will give you 6 to 7 pan cakes depending upon the size of your pan.
  • 4. Now heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in your grill skillet and add the beef chunks to the oil. Grill for about 15 minutes, 5 to 6 minutes on each side and then take out in a dish.
  • 5. Now start placing the chunks in the pancakes and make rolls by rolling the pancakes and close the ends with cooking threads. Repeat the same procedure with all of the pancakes.
  • 6. Now heat 2 tablespoons of oil in grill skillet and start grilling the rolls, cook for about 3 to 4 minutes, 2 minutes on each side just to give it a golden brown look.
  • 7. Take out in a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley.
